The Drive Behind King’s Court Builders

Pete Stefani is the founder and day-to-day visionary of the team. He is accessible and hands-on, yet has developed strong enough relationships with his team and trade partners that he values their input. King’s Court Builders, Inc. is the same King’s Court Builders, Inc. that was founded in 1986. We kept our doors open during the lean years, serviced our clients, and never filed for bankruptcy, or lost a property to foreclosure.

We’re not a remodeler, subcontractor, multi-family builder, or developer. Our focus is building the best single-family custom homes we can. Our team brings knowledge, consistency, and experience to your home-building process! You will work with a dedicated New Home Consultant throughout the home-building process. They will be there to answer your questions, assist you during your selection process, and help you make the best decisions for your new home! We understand building a custom home is a time-consuming and emotional process. Our entire team is dedicated to making your home-building process run smoothly and all of us at King’s Court Builders share a commitment to customer satisfaction.

We take the one year warranty that is required by state law and extend it for a second year – in its entirety! This commitment demonstrates our confidence in our quality of work and our willingness to service our homeowners after closing.

Foundation

  • King’s Court Builders was started in 1986 by Pete Stefani and he still runs day‐to‐day operations. His vision, experience, and focus on customer satisfaction before, during, and after the building of your home are some of the reasons King’s Court has so many repeat buyers, realtor referrals, and client referrals.
  • Our focus is on building single-family homes in and around the Naperville area. We don’t remodel, develop land, perform restorations, or build in multiple states. We refrain from these practices in order to maintain the integrity of our work.

Trust

  • There’s an old expression that goes “A builder is only as good as the trade partners he chooses” and that couldn’t be truer at King’s Court Builders. Other builders may choose subcontractors based on the lowest price to win your business, but the consumer ends up losing in the end.
  • Of course price is important but quality, reliability, and service are more important and with that selection criteria, we can confidently offer two-year warranties on our homes.

Transparency

  • Our staffed model home is open 7 days/week for consultations, selections, and questions.
  • Realistic budgets are being given upfront.
  • Clear, thorough descriptions of standard inclusions and custom changes are included in the contract.
  • You are given 24/7 access to your new home while it is being built.
  • The construction schedule is online, including up-to-the-minute change order totals.
  • Reminders for upcoming tasks for you to complete.
  • New Home Orientation approximately two weeks before closing to demonstrate the features of your new home.
  • Dedicated Project Manager to address concerns during the two‐year warranty (no calling of subs directly).
